Puck drop for the Lions de Trois-Rivières’ 2023-24 campaign is October 20 at Colisée Vidéotron

The Lions de Trois-Rivières and the ECHL have released the team’s official schedule for the 2023-24 regular season, with the Lions’ first game being at home on October 20 at 7:00 p.m. The Lions will play 72 regular season games, evenly split between 36 at home and 36 on the road. The final regular season game will be held on April 14 with puck drop at 3:00 p.m. at Colisée Vidéotron. The Lions launch their third season in quest of the Kelly Cup with a three-game series at Colisée Vidéotron against the Maine Mariners. The team then hits the road for four games before returning to play a three-games-in-three-days series against Canadian rivals the Newfoundland Growlers on November 3, 4 and 5.

A few matchups of note: For the first time in team history the Lions will face the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights-affiliated Savannah Ghost Pirates. Also, the Atlanta Gladiators (Arizona Coyotes affiliate) and the Idaho Steelheads (Dallas Stars affiliate), will each be making their first visits across the border to Trois-Rivières.
